A search for a UTHM CGPA calculator usually starts from a slip that prints both a letter and a mark. The letter is not enough. Table 7 of the UTHM academic regulations, the same table on the HEP mark sheet, gives A+ and A a flat 4.00, then a different point for almost every mark from 79 down to 40. An A- at 79 is 3.94. An A- at 75 is 3.70. Both letters say A-. The average does not.
The worked example is the one the load button enters. A mark of 79 on a 3-credit course is 3.94 × 3 = 11.82. A mark of 70, the bottom of B+, is 3.30 × 3 = 9.90. A mark of 50, the bottom of C, is 2.00 × 2 = 4.00. The semester is 25.72 grade points over 8 credits, which is 3.2150. If you leave the mark blank and only pick A-, the form uses 3.70, the floor of that band, and the same 3 credits contribute 11.10 instead of 11.82. That is a different CGPA. Type the mark when you have it.
The steps inside a band are not all the same size. From 79 to 75 the point falls by 0.06 a mark. From 74 to 70 it falls by 0.08. From 69 to 65 it falls by 0.06 again. C+ falls by 0.08 from 2.62 at 59 to 2.30 at 55. D falls by 0.10 from 1.40 at 44 to 1.00 at 40. E, 0 to 39, is 0.00. A+ from 85 to 100 and A from 80 to 84 stay at 4.00, so a mark in those two bands does not need to be typed unless you want the letter to match the slip.
Grade D is the minimum pass published with the table, and the regulations allow a faculty to set a higher pass for a course. A point of 1.00 still enters the PNGK while the attempt remains. Passing the course and moving the average are separate questions. Verify the pass line with your faculty. This page will not drop a D for you.
Previous semesters are still credit hours times the old PNGK. UTHM's per-mark table does not change that division. It only changes the point you multiply. A friend at UKM with an A- is on 3.67 for the whole band. Do not paste that 3.67 into a UTHM row. Use the UKM page for that transcript, and stay here when the mark is a UTHM mark.
Hundredths are kept on purpose. 3.30 times 3 credits is 9.90, not 10. Rounding each course to a whole number before the division will not match the 3.2150 above. Four decimal places are shown so a two-decimal transcript can be compared with the unrounded split. The faculty's own rounding, if it prints two places, is the one on the slip.
Verify with your faculty. UTHM does not give one point to a whole letter. A- runs from 3.70 at 75 marks to 3.94 at 79. Type the mark. A letter with no mark uses the bottom of that band, which is the smaller point. Grade D is the published minimum pass, and a faculty may set a higher one. Verify that pass line with your faculty.

The shared formula does not change with the logo on the transcript. Multiply each grade point by the credit hours, add those products, and divide by the credit hours. What changes is the point you are allowed to multiply. If your letter is not in the table, do not borrow one from another university. Use the main CGPA calculator to switch scales, or the SPM page if you are still counting school grades.
