A 2026 salary calculator is only as current as the file it reads. This one is dated 30 October 2026 and it is explicit about each line. EPF uses the Third Schedule KWSP was still listing, the schedule effective for October 2025 wages: employee 11 percent under 60, employer 13 percent at RM5,000 or below and 12 percent above that, with the wage bands rather than a raw percentage up to RM20,000. Nothing in the 2026 file replaces that schedule with a round 11 percent of the ringgit you type.
SOCSO keeps the RM6,000 wage ceiling. First category is the bracket amount for injury plus invalidity. From 1 June 2026, LINDUNG 24 Jam phase 1 adds an employee-only 0.75 percent through 31 May 2028. PERKESO's 2026 FAQ is why the box defaults to on for local employees who did not opt out, and why it is not a silent extra. Amounts above the low published rows are a fitted bracket, not a photograph of the full SKBBK PDF. If a payslip above RM1,500 disagrees by a sen, the slip wins and the fit is the thing to re-check.
The tax brackets are the resident scale LHDN published for years of assessment 2023 to 2025. PwC's Malaysian tax booklet shows that same scale for YA 2026. LHDN's own public rate page was still titled 2023–2025 when this file was written. The estimate is not the official computerised PCB, it assumes you are resident, and it pretends the month you type repeats all year. The RM5,000 single example at age 30 with LINDUNG on is still net RM4,269.95, with employer cost RM5,746.55. That number is the check that the 2026 file has not drifted.
What the file will not do in 2026: look up a bonus month, apply the Third Schedule rule that keeps the employer at 13 percent when a bonus pushes a wage across RM5,000, model zakat, or price a non-resident. Those belong on a payslip or with a tax agent. The net salary page is this same form with the worked arithmetic written out line by line. After tax isolates the chargeable-income step. EPF isolates the Third Schedule.
Use the load button before you trust a screenshot. If RM5,000 does not come back as RM4,269.95 on those assumptions, the rate file and the page have parted company. The date in the disclaimer is the date to quote, not "2026" as a mood.
